  • Payment Information: Processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the Competitor Intel service.
  • To process your analyses and generate intelligence reports.
  • To manage your account, credits, and subscription.
  • To send transactional emails (reports, account updates).
  • To improve our service and develop new features.
  • To collect anonymous usage analytics (page views, performance metrics) via Vercel Analytics.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance: Processing necessary to provide you with the Service (account management, analyses, billing).
  • Legitimate interest: Improving our Service, preventing fraud, and ensuring security.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security policies. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Analysis reports are associated with your account and accessible only to you.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Anthropic (Claude AI): AI-powered analysis of crawled content.
  • Supabase: Authentication and database.
  • Stripe: Payment processing.
  • Vercel: Application hosting and anonymous analytics.
  • Resend: Transactional email delivery.

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how they process data. We encourage you to review their respective policies.

6. International Data Transfers

Our Service is hosted in the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the US (including the EEA), your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. We rely on our service providers' data processing agreements and standard contractual clauses to ensure adequate protection of your data.

7. Crawled Website Data

Competitor Intel crawls publicly available web pages to generate analysis reports. We only access content that is publicly available on the internet. We do not access password-protected areas, private APIs, or data behind authentication. Crawled content is processed by AI and is not redistributed in its original form.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data and analysis history.
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data. You can delete your account directly from the app.
  • Portability: Export your analysis reports (JSON, PDF).
  • Restriction: Request restriction of processing of your personal data.
  • Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Opt out of non-essential communications.

9. Cookies
